Child Inclusive Practice in Mediation
Service Description
Our Child Inclusive Practice service is designed to support families navigating separation or parenting challenges by bringing the voice of the child into the process in a safe and meaningful way. This process helps parents better understand their child’s experience, needs, and perspective, enabling more informed and child-focused decision-making. What’s Included: 1-hour consultation with both parents separately. The session assists in understanding the family dynamics, provide context, and explain the process. 1-hour consultation with each child Individual sessions are conducted in a sensitive and age-appropriate manner, giving children a confidential space to express their thoughts and feelings. (Please note: The base fee covers up to 2 children. An additional $180 per hour applies for each extra child.) 1-hour feedback session with parents A summary session where insights from the child consultations are shared in a respectful and constructive way to support co-parenting decisions. This can be done with or without lawyers present. This service is conducted by trained professionals skilled in child development, family dynamics, and therapeutic engagement. Our aim is to create a supportive environment that prioritizes the emotional well-being of children during challenging transitions.
